Welcome CLITizens to Camp Lost IT! Indicate where the info table, shower, kitchen, and communal areas are. Provide a short demonstration of how to work the shower/grey water system, and reiterate MOOP requirements/ expectations
Inclusion Experts
Engage with the larger community during interactivity hours & dance parties to encourage them to join in on our fun!
Mutant Vehicle
Unload and assist with assembling vehicle. One person to accompany vehicle and assist riders on and off the vehicle during BAIT rides on three different days. Ensure participant safety by directing & maintaining art car / traffic
Fire Pit/Safety
Maintain fire and fire safety
Infrastructure
Coordinate with Placement team to confirm where core infrastructure needs to be setup. Build / setup core infrastructure components, including: big (aka – Circus) tent, kitchen, tent / Shiftpod, DJ, and bar shade structures, entry arch and perimeter flags
Placement/Layout
Ensure vehicles, RVs, Shiftpods/ tents, etc. are within their allotted space on our map
Decor & Furniture
Building/ putting together playa tech couches, putting up lighting, placing decorations around community areas, blowing up kiddie pool cuddle puddles, etc. You will also be making sure all decor and furniture is securely fastened down to avoid Wizard of Oz moments
MOOP Patrol
Leave No Trace — help our participants restore the land to how we found it
Music/Sound
Monitor to ensure entertainment standards and neighborhood satisfaction
Shower/Greywater
Check on the state of our shower tent to ensure there are no overflows or issues that need to be dealt with. Examine the grey water tank and make sure the water level is acceptable. If we are in need of a dump, & our scheduled one(s) haven’t happened, you will be responsible for communicating with other camp members to help flag down a United Site Services truck. All grey water vouchers for dumps will be located in an envelope on the info table
Ice Runner
Monitor cooler(s) and make ice runs
Monday-Saturday: 9am-6pm, Sunday: noon-6pm
Crushed: $10 for 16lbs, Blocks: $5 for 7lbs
Sold at Center Camp, 3:00 + G, and 9:00 + G
Family Meal Chefs
Responsible for prepping, heating and serving up fam meals
Kitchen Clean Up
Responsible for cleaning community pots, pans, utensils, etc. after Fam meals, & ensuring there are no food scraps or any kind of MOOP left behind. ALL CLITizens are accountable for cleaning their own dishes and maintaining a clean & healthy kitchen environment! This includes the dishwashing station
Recycling/Composting
Checking kitchen area composting and recycling bin capacities after meal times, maintaining general function and cleanliness of areas throughout the day (during shifts), screening for accuracy of sorting (only approved items in bins) and transporting to designated areas in/around center camp (via electric bike/trailer) as needed
CLIT! Stimulators
Offer ice-cold CLIT! Towels with essential oils to entice BRC Citizens to join in on our interactivities
Tea Party Purveyor
Will be in charge of making & serving ice tea during “Spill the Tea Parties”. Will also be setting up tea table with our mix & match tea cups & saucers before interactivities begin
Bar Setup/Bartending
Assembling the bar and equipment and mixing the cocktails (adding 1 or 2 ingredients to the kegs). Pouring for patrons, monitoring kegs (levels and keeping them cold), and monitoring ice levels. Making sure ppl know they’ve found the CLiT! Make sure everything is properly stored between bar shifts
